EGCS offers a middle school program for 7th- and 8th grade students. These students complete their core curriculum (English, math, science, and history/social science) through direct-instruction workshops that meet Monday-Friday for a three-hour block of time. The remainder of the middle school curriculum is completed through ISP. Middle school ISP courses are facilitated through each student's weekly Advisory period core workshop. These courses include, but are not limited to PE, career exploration, digital citizenship, and Advocacy. In addition, middle school students will complete an elective wheel of courses assigned through advocacy and completed independently. All middle school student will meet one-on one once a year with an administrator to discuss goals and academic progress, as well as answer any question a student may have about the program and their future endeavors.
