The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a great career assessment tool that can help you identify which career areas best suit you. Because this is an aptitude test it doesn't just tell you what you are currently good at, it will also tell you what you may be good at learning.

Youth Leadership Training Awakening Camp

June - July
Young men and women spend a week in a challenging program of discussions, inspirational addresses, leadership training and social activities designed to enhance personal development, leadership skills and good citizenship. 
Attendance is by scholarship only. See Mrs. Farwell in the career to apply.

Elk Grove Civic Summer Camp and Internship

Application deadline: April 13th
This is a two-week course about local government and issues facing the Elk Grove community! Civic Summer aims to provide participants with valuable work experience and networking opportunities or future careers.

Community Clean-Up Wednesdays

Join us the first Wednesday of every month from 11:00 - 12:30 pm for community clean up. You will earn double the amount of community service hours and receive an EGCS shirt if you haven't already received one.  

Free youth W.R.A.P.

This is a fun, supportive, and interactive 8-week empowerment workshop for ages 17-24. Wellness Recovery Action Plan is a highly effective program. This helps individuals regain control of their lives. It is a strength-based self-help tool that empowers you to identify warning signs and events that may lead to difficulties.
