Senior Grad Nite

This year we are planning many activities for our graduating class of 2018. One of them is Senior Grad Nite at Six Flags Magic Mountain. 
Fundraisers will be available and earnings will go directly to the balances that participate.
The criteria is: Be a graduating senior, less than 90 credits to graduate, and be on track to finish all credits by May 18, 2018. If you are interested in participating, you can add your name on the grad nite sheet in the ISP room or contact Mrs. Wade.

Annual Sock Drive

Mustard Seed School in Sacramento is a place for students whose families are homeless. THe school provides education for homeless kids ages 3-15. Charter is collecting socks this winter to donate to the kids who attend Mustard Seed School. If possible, please bring a pair of new or clean used socks, any sizes. 
There will be boxes in classrooms and the office. The deadline is December 14th.

Sacramento City College

Tuesday, January 30th
8:30 AM - 1:45 PM

11th and 12th grade students: Join Mrs. Farwell and Mrs. Valenzuela on January 30th to a field trip to Sac City College. Students will have the opportunity to get a campus tour, visit the Cosmetology and RISE department. Students will also get an overview of the programs and services offered at Sacramento City College. Lunch will be provided by SCC. 
Please please out the permission slip attached and turn in to the front office no later than January 12th.

Community Clean-Up Wednesdays

Join us the first Wednesday of every month from 11:00 - 12:30 pm for community clean up. You will earn double the amount of community service hours and receive an EGCS shirt if you haven't already received one.  

Finals Week (December 11 - 15)

Students need experience with comprehensive exams whether they plan on going to college or getting a license or certificate of some kind.  EGCS students will be exposed to this type of setting through the implementation of a Finals Week. The following outlines the finals schedule for the week of December 11- 15, 2017.

Please remember participation in the workshop final is mandatory. All students must attend the scheduled final. See the class syllabus to understand how the final will impact the final grade. Should you have any questions you may contact the office at 916-714-1653.
