This is intended for 6th through 9th grade students and their families, and provides easy to understand information on how to prepare academically and financially for college. 
Space is limited. You must register online if you plan to attend! Registration will close when the event is full. You can register HERE

Elk Grove Civic Summer

The program is open to EGUSD sophomores (class of 2021) and juniors (class of 2020) with preference given to students enrolled in a high school career academy or pathway.

Engage in a two-week course about local government and issues facing the Elk Grove Community and complete a three-week internship with local public agencies.

When: Classroom study June 17-28 from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm internship July 8 - 26 (hours vary based on internship placement ) **no class week of July 1-5
Go to and apply by April 12, 2019. We will have a workshop next Friday, April 5th at 11 am in the Computer Lab.

Let's Bowl: Seniors VS Senior Teachers

Do you think you have what it takes to take on your teacher? Join  your senior class vs senior teachers for bowling. Wednesday, May 8th at Pins & strikes Elk Grove, 1:00 - 4:00 pm This is a free event and includes: bowling, shoe rental, food and drinks and game tokens. Stop by the office to get more info

Don't Buy the Lie Campaign

This is the 26th annual Don't Buy the Lie Campaign sponsored by Kaiser Permanente. With this campaign there is a billboard contest. Any student 6th-12th grade can participate.
-The billboard message must be anti-smoking, vaping, juuling.
-It should be the student Original Work (computer generated artwork will be accepted), no photographs or copyrighted material and do not use cartoon or comic characters. 
-10 words maximum and drawing must not exceed 9x13 size paper
-All entries are due to EG Charter by April 26th
- Voting will begin on Friday, May 10th and will close Friday, May 17th 
-Grand Prize winners will be announced the week of May 20th

Friday Night Live

Join the club!
Friday night live is a great opportunity for you to build your leadership skills, develop new friendships and get to know others on your campus. We focus on being drug and alcohol-free. You will be able to help plan and organize events and make a difference in our school and community. Get involved with Friday Night Live!

The first meeting day will be Tuesday, September 11th.
